Good to have you on board. :-) To get a better reality on what TROM is and does, I recommend listening to the tapes The Creation of TROM and The Conditions of Life, in that order. You can find them on Pete's TROM Help site (http://tromhelp.com/services). There's also a transcript available for tape The Conditions of Life. It may be a bit tricky in the beginning, reading the TROM manual, as the gradient gets a bit steep - especially on the data concerning Level 5. My advice: don't worry too much about Level 5. It's not necessary to have a good grasp of that level to start with TROM and do Levels 1 through 4. Dennis states in his tape 'The Philosophy of TROM' (between minutes 20 and 23; the tape is also available for download on the tromhelp site) that it is unfortunate that the philosophy of TROM won't be particularly real to most people until they get into Level 5. Just know that what TROM tries to accomplish (and the tape 'The Conditions of Life' will give you a good reality on that) is to take people from a compulsive games state to a non-compulsive game state - this is accomplished with the completion of Level 3; and then from a non-compulsive games state to a no-games state, where the person has the ability to switch from the no-games state (Nirvana, or native state in Scientology) to the non-compulsive games state and back at will. At this point the person will be able to play games anytime they want to, and then return back to the no-games state whenever they wish. This ability (to go from non-compulsive to no games state and back again) is regained at the completion of Level 5. Well, it's a very interesting, very fascinating technology. And I hope you'll stick around, check it out, apply it to yourself and have many, many gains along the way.
