that's a good question. I remember asking Scientologists that very question years ago, and also whether they could read minds at will. And I, too, got similar responses. I know Scientologists who have gone exterior (outside the body.) But those were isolated incidents rather than stable abilities (i.e. being able to do it anytime at will.) One went exterior upon completion of an OT level, went through the auditing room, out through the roof of the building and rose high above the city, with full perception; another went exterior while doing OT TR-0 (sitting opposite another person with one's eyes closed and just confronting them.) Yet another was went exterior and visited his girlfriend in another city, went into her room and saw what she was doing. He had told her about it and she confirmed that it was indeed what she had been doing. All isolated, one-time incidents. I don't think any Scientologist has the ability to go exterior 'at will'. It usually happens when they blow some huge mental charge or have some life-altering cognition, or something along those lines. I also think that those who went exterior are a minority, and that most Scientologists haven't experienced it. So going exterior would be one way to read things in the other room. Another would be to put anchor points in the other room to see what's in there (while you're still inside your body.) This, too, is a high-level ability, and, again, I don't think any Scientologists has really mastered it. The question is not whether it is possible, but whether it can be done 'at will.' There's this book by Hubbard, 'Creation of Human Ability.' and it's filled with processes that may exteriorise you. But no Scientology auditor would agree to run them on me when I asked them. Duh! So there you have it: it can be done, but no one I've met so far has 'mastered' it. By the way, why are you asking? If you want to cheat on exams there are better, more traditional ways...
