I'm going to cover exteriorization and what that entails, OBE and Remote Viewing along with Love vs. Fear.
First off, Love vs. Fear. If you have ever looked into trading, there are two very important emotions, greed and fear. From a flows standpoint, greed is the idea and the emotion of getting it all, taking a big win, making a big profit. Of course fear is the opposite in trading and it is the idea and fear that you can loose it all. One is a full flow towards oneself and of course the other a full flow away. A good technical way to look at this is affinity or no affinity. Without love there certainly could be no flow towards oneself and of course fear creates 'flee' which in objective terms is a flow away from oneself.
Very simply then one can characterize the flow towards as love and the fleeing, the flow away as fear. One can then see that greed and fear are opposites as well as love and fear. It is simply a matter of direction of flow. If you replace fear with hate then you will have the typical semantic opposites of Love vs. Hate.
Now for exteriorization. I use this term as a catchall for OBE and Remote Viewing. They both are not done with the body but by the Thetan, the spirit, that consciousness that is the only real you, the body being an identity and a tool/vehicle for operating as a physical entity in the MEST Universe.
Many times I have personally experienced both phenomena for myself and continue to improve those abilities. I have experienced exteriorization and OBE during session and also out of session. In session I often experienced the somatics and quite often had the PC's cog before he did. And yes, it is a matter of free will to execute such adventures. One reason I got into Scn and now have studied TROM is to get better at it. I am better at it but not completely free to use it at any time. Much earlier, I studied Yoga and self-hypnosis and took those as far as one can. I am now studying and practicing meditation because that is where the rubber meets the road. Exteriorization is a function of the being not the body. It is also not a function of the mind but the mind does contribute to it in a negative way. The mind, the Bank is just chuck full of fears and also all kinds of engrained beliefs and postulates as to how things must be done. Those engrams/postulates must be eliminated or over come before one can exteriorize. With lots of practice and many years without falling on one's head and getting off into the forest or a ditch, meditation can circumvent all of the mind. That's what the practice is all about. It is a pretty tough route and one which is fraught with many pits, potholes and land mines. I would say that the odds of getting there with just meditation are pretty high.
Scn and TROM are excellent ways to knock down the mind to a manageable size. Scn however has turned into another one of those 'traps' that LRH was always mentioning. TROM can get one to a point, where the final step, meditation can easily be applied. Keep in mind that meditation is the being practicing being the Being. I don't think there is any activity that can replace being just the Being and learning and experiencing. It can't be done by proxy. The mind has no part in this at all and is only a hindrance, a very big one in the beginning of one's journey towards enlightenment.
A brief note on exteriorization. Be cognizant of the fact that seeing around corners, seeing things on the moon, etc. cannot be seen with the body. One has to see those things without the senses of the body and therefore one really only winds up knowing. One does not see colors or the mountains on Mars but must know them from data gathered as a consciousness. Gather enough data and one can put together a pretty good picture if you really want a picture of what you know is a mountain and it exists on Mars. Here within your body and in the MEST Universe all of your senses are only collecting data (into the brain) which you then organize and distribute into a meaning after examining all of that data. You may think things are pretty solid but that's only because your senses give you data, which you then interpret as color, density, weight, temperature, etc. You have spent a whole life time putting this facility together and now that you want to be a spirit, a Thetan, you want to take that with you but I'm sorry, your eyes, ears and tactile are just not transportable beyond the body itself nor is the brain, the collector of all of that data.
