Dear David and Paul,
Great discussion interaction in your last posts. Have either of
you read
any of the sayings of other self-realized "masters"? Sometimes I
wonder if
they might have missed out on something re the mind by not having
Dennis'
chart, or did they manage to intuit it for themselves.
I have been reading several prominent contemporary studies on
meditation who also delve into OBE, remote viewing and mysticism.
Missed out on something? ... read further down.
The language both of you speak is the language of self-realized
masters as
I have been studying them. They boldly state their awareness of
One-ness,
I-Am-ness, as best as it can be put into dichotomous language form.
Yes and I have come to conclusions about that myself. LRH has also
posed the question but never answered it, saying that as one
progresses to OT, that the question would be answered. During my
studies in Scn I did discover that truth for myself. As I read about
meditation I further develop my understanding of the duality of the I-
Am-ness while at the same time knowing that there is also an over
riding One-ness to all. For me, it could not be anything but. My
simple answer is that in a totally non-physical universe and
beingness, there is no other explanation that forwards the fact that
there is a connection there between spirits/Thetans as they must
communicate with and know of others under these conditions. When in
the physical universe this same connection is called telepathy and
intuition.
Paul, as you intimated, there is I believe a type of "fruition"
process.
One who completes TROM and completely resolves the mind is still a
bit like
a green tomatoe, but words suddenly degrade what REALLY is in order
for the
mind to grasp it.
Yes. David also touched on this inasmuch as language communication
with words are metaphors and allegories.
The masters also seem to, upon viewing the 'human condition' put a
deal of
emphasis on letting go of attachments and aversions and over-
identification
with the body.
Yes, that is one way of putting it. With much practice one can leap-
frog across all of the barriers which are attachments and aversions
and over-identifications. Handling the mind can make that journey
much more simple and shorter.
Last night I was looking at the mind as a sort of entity, just
looking at
it and suddenly I thought to ask myself, WHO is looking at the
mind, and
the mind became a smaller thing and I sort of laughed about it.
But of
course, I have not yet punched in the legs of the "To Know" matrix,
so no
delusions about what will come up when I do that, however, having
that more
universal perspective is closer to truth. Just looking at my goal and
releasing any conflicting postulates about it have been very, well,
"releasing".
Yes, yes and yes. The mind wouldn't even exist if one didn't put it
there and then include it in one's system of being and behavior.
It truly is an entity that plays a part in one's every day (physical
universe) being, doing and having. Silly thang is that one could
literally transport it with them into the spiritual/non-physical
universe as well. I think by doing such that one quickly falls back
to Earth (if you will). Only having brief moments of pure Theta/
spiritual realities.
Paul, are you still punching in the legs of the Postulate Failure
cycle, or
are you complete?
I was for several months and then got so enthralled and interested in
meditation that I am advancing in that area as deeply and as much as
possible at the moment. Reason being is that from an early age of
about 3yrs old, I now know that I was exploring and started applying
several of the abilities and concepts that are gained from
meditation. I feel I will get back to it, especially as needed. The
mind and conquering it is always there even as one studies
meditation. Meditation is just a different route to the same ends.
I feel and don't see why one can't do both in tandem. Both help each
other. Two different tools being used to chip away at the hunk of
granite called the mind.
The circle of "satsangs" and "saints" is growing :-) Of course,
we never
really existed, eh!
Of course not! That is much to high a level of beingness and
knowingness for mortal man to achieve but only to wish for and only
to sadly except as the true fate, one's own current reality as the
'REALITY', the only reality that there ever is/was/will be.
love,
colleen
