I and history agree with you. It is inevitable that the original material
will get miss duplicated, edited, altered or lost and be completely
unintelligible to people living 500 years from now.
if TROM becomes popular it will be dumbed down so more people can understand it
and become ineffective. If TROM becomes a religion the buracracy will alter it
to protect it with copyrights to improve profits. if TROMers become a political
movement the government will make it illegal to posses the books. etcetera
etcetera etcetera.
it will not stay the way Dennis published it.
Dennis states in the lectures that he forgot to put the junior universe "to be
responsible" in the original manual. and in the Judith Methven letter on
running level 5 Dennis states the the Postulate failure Chart is wrong in
column 7 where he put overwhelm where it should read overwhelmed in 4 places.
Dennis therefor has already made changes and recognized that his effort was not
perfect.
I find that the supplemental lectures are a tremendous help for me to
understand the TROM manual. I also found the spelling errors, undefined
abbreviations, assertions with out supporting evidence etc. in the TROM manual
to be a hindrance to my study of the material.
so i made the changes needed to make TROM understandable for me. i found the
tapes and made them available to everyone. and i am transcribing the tapes so
they will be easier to understand.
I am more concerned that TROM will disappear in a couple of years than that it
will be altered in the longer term so i am making these efforts to make it
available to everyone.
I consider that every person studying TROM is their own Course Supervisor, Case
Supervisor, Auditor, Student and Patient with all the power and responsibility
that those jobs entail. Anyone who does not like my work can ignore it and
limit themselves to some subset of the materials that fits their own idea of
what they should know and apply.
Thank you Slim for making TROM available on your website. Also thank you for
telling me how you feel about my efforts. Maybe between us TROM will stick
around long enough to help a few people improve their lives.
