Hubbard checked out all sides of the spectrum.
Haven't we all checked out things, that we eventually realized that
it was not our cup of tea.
How else do you learn between right and wrong?
You learn the stove is hot by touching it and getting burnt.
So my point is that you have to see this in proper context.
Such research is part of completing the cycle of learning,
knowing and understanding.
