Hi Colleen and All,
I agree with everything you have said and all that Dennis has said
about this way of thinking/postulating. In my discussion of Dennis'
work on 'Bonding', I have been writing to make all note that what
needs to happen to end this crazy think is to not use the logic in
your thinking of ... 'if A then B'. If this logic is not eliminated
from one's thinking, yes, one will continue to make the bonding
postulates and continue making those aberrations in one's mind.
My admonition was two fold. One that this type of thinking should be
eliminated if it in fact exists in one's repertoire of thinking and
if it is not, then don't worry about it. One does not eliminate this
way of thinking if one just eliminates the postulates that were made
using this logic. It is not a given that everyone will be employing
this logic in their thinking. After all, the mind is not logical or
sane.
Dennis fails to mention this and one could easily be lead astray
handling something that doesn't exist for them. Or thinking that
they have handled it by draining the swamp of all of these types of
logical postulates. One may still be employing this logic and
thinking even after they have drained the swamp.
I also suggest that an easier handle is to see if this logic is or
has been employed and handle the need and decision to ever use it
again. If this is not done, one will always be creating a new swamp
of bonding to be handled and cleared.
Without this handle Dennis' work was incomplete concerning bonding
and may actually never get it terminatedly handled other than
draining the swamp every so often.

Thank you Pete. Here's the crux so far:
"So that?s the relationship between bonding and freedom. Every time
you
make an ?if A then B? postulate you?ve reduced your freedom. And
every time
you get someone else to subscribe to an ?If A then B? postulate you?
ve got
them to reduce their freedom. Tricky isn?t it?
It?s a sneaky one, isn?t it? No one would suspect this until they
examine
it, that here is how you can lose your freedom.
You know how to lose your freedom without being carted off to the
local
constabulary and getting locked up in a cell. *You know you can
lose all
the freedom there is in this universe if you make enough ?if A then B?
postulates. And you?ll make these postulates absolutely
injudiciously.* You
see that?
You can trap yourself thoroughly. And work yourself into a hole.
And be
just as trapped as any prisoner in his cell if you make ?If A then B?
postulates, and you would have done it all yourself. You don?t need
any
help from anyone else. You can do it all yourself."
