When running Level 4, one must always keep in mind that they are running out overwhelms. Degradation is just one form of action, doingness where one may have been overwhelmed.

When you run this, like all of the previous Levels, the command is 'Forced to know'. One is running 'Forced to know' by going over and over the command and thereby getting the idea 'Forced to know'. The words, 'get the idea' are not part of the command. One can preface the running of a command with 'get the idea' but that is where it stops. One then just goes over and over 'Forced to know'. It needs to be done this way to be open ended. Otherwise one may only run out just 'getting the idea of ____'. The mind and its self-preservation tactics can be really something awesome to behold. Don't get stuck just running out ideas. One wants to run out those times that there was action and doingness of 'forced to ____'.

1) Forced to know.
2) Preventing from being known.
3) Prevented from knowing.
4) Forcing to be known.
5) Forced to be known.
6) Preventing from knowing.
7) Prevented from being known.
8) Forcing to know.

For enhance, I would get the idea of:

1) Forced to enhance.
2) Preventing from being enhanced.
3) Prevented from enhancing.
4) Forcing to be enhanced.
5) Forced to be enhanced.
6) Preventing from enhancing.
7) Prevented from being enhanced.
8) Forcing to enhance.

I would also like to point out that Level 4 has nothing to do with games. In only has to do with overwhelms. The ultimate game loser. This factor must be taken out of one's game scenario and never again be overwhelmed to be an expert game player. If there is a game that one can loose due to the fact that they can be overwhelmed then one is not an expert and is the effect of any and all games. So it is solely the factor of overwhelm which blocks one from being able to play a game and not lose and lose permanently. The only factor it has in the Postulate Failure Chart is that it is the point where one quits and no longer plays that game or maybe any game from then on. There are no legs to it. At any point that overwhelm occurs, the Postulate Failure Chart for that game is finished, that game is finished. It can be at 8b as well as at 1a. At that point of overwhelm, you might as well throw the whole Postulate Failure Chart away. It is of no further good.

Does this give one an idea of how one can spend hundreds of hours to a life time on Level 5 and not reach its ultimate goal?

Overwhelm comes in many forms and Dennis details out the different classes that overwhelms come in and he has covered them all. Just treat this purely as the subject of overwhelms and nothing else. There are no such thing as legs to it. It is total loss in any of the 8 classes that Dennis defines as can occur. One does not go from overwhelm to another leg. It's game over. The only thing that happens after that is to play a lesser new game until one finally arrives at rock. It is the cause of spiraling down, never to ascend again.

If one cannot come to Freedom from Overwhelm, an infinite cycling through of the Postulate Failure Chart will never get one above games and then thru default one will only have lessor and lessor games that they can play until they drop out of the bottom never to be seen, heard from or play another game again.

Having completed Level 4 and gotten the EP, the cognition, I know this to be true. It is life and existence changing. I only wish that Dennis spent more time on this Level and thoroughly worked it out. He did an amazing job in coming up with this Level.

Paul/Level 5 in progress.

HI Colleen
? I got time today to over your wording of the "to enhance" commands for level 4 and they did not seem clear to me.

Here is my wording and the reasons for them.

We start off at Leg 4 of the goals package with the point of view of Must Not Be Enhanced opposed by a guy at Leg 1 Must Enhance. 1. Get the idea of being forced to be enhanced (Leg 1 is forcing enhancement on me so I get? a motivator)

2. Get the idea of preventing from enhancing (I am preventing Leg 1 from enhancing)

Now we move up to Leg 3 Must Be Enhanced opposed by Leg 2 Must Not Enhance.

3. Get the idea of prevented from being enhanced (Leg 2 is preventing me from being enhanced)

4. Get the idea of forcing to enhance (I am forcing Leg 2 to enhance me)

Now move up to Leg 2 Must Not Enhance opposed by Leg 3 Must Be Enhanced

5. Get the idea of being forced to enhance (Leg 3 is forcing me to enhance Leg 3 or someone else)

6. Get the idea of preventing enhancement (I am preventing Leg 3 from getting enhancement)

Now we take the point of view of Leg 1 Must Enhance opposed by Leg 4 Must Not Be Enhanced

7. Get the idea of prevented from enhancing (Leg 4 is preventing from enhancing others)

8. Get the idea of forcing enhancement (I am forcing enhancement on others and overwhelming Leg 4's opposition)

Let me know if this wording sounds better to you,

Keep on TROMing

This seems more precise:

Level 4 running ?To Enhance? as a resolution of the negative ?To Degrade? goals
The equivalent flows to the to-know overwhelms:

        1. Get the idea of being forced to be enhanced
        2. Get the idea of preventing from being enhanced
        3. Get the idea of prevented from being enhanced
        4. Get the idea of forcing to be enhanced
        1. Get the idea of forced enhancement
        2. Get the idea of preventing enhancement
        3. Get the idea of prevented enhancement
        4. Get the idea of forcing enhancement
The 8 Classes of Overwhelms (Taken from the TROM manual)
        1. Forced to know
        2. Preventing from being known
        3. Prevented from knowing
        4. Forcing to be known
        5. Forced to be known
        6. Preventing from knowing
        7. Prevented from being known
        8. Forcing to know
