I think these are especially important tips for newbies:

*Note:*

* For the TROM initiate: *

*TROM is a very steep gradient process of self help, mind improvement and
spiritual development. *

*That means it is like entering school at the high school or university
level instead of at kindergarten. And it is like doing all school grades
“kindergarten to university Phd “ in one or two years.*

*Or like climbing a very steep grade up a big hill, versus a gentle slope.*

*Therefore go very slowly and complete each item, every scene, every
incident, completely before moving on to the next, or (in severe cases) you
will get overwhelmed or bogged down or crash or cave in, from too much
charge or incidents being accessed at one time. And if that happens, you
will be in a mentally tangled mess. And feel terrible. *

*But be assured you will eventually be ok. In this world, within every
adversity there is a silver lining. So keep a positive and optimistic
courageous "can do" , " I will figure it out" and "will do it" attitude
and you will be stronger and wiser when you get through it all. *

*If this (re: too much welled up charge) does happen, there are several
things (first aid- home remedies) you can do and should do:*

*Read the following over and decide which one you want to start with
first. *

*My guess or suggestion would be to do "two" or and "three" first. And do
"one" later. *

*ONE: Stop processing and go for a walk and look at things far and near
alternatingly. Look at an object in the far distance, (ex: horizon, cloud,
airplane, sun, tree, tower, building) take a good careful look at it,
really see what is there, see all details, color, shape, texture,
temperature, hardness, softness, what kind of material is it, (try and
penetrate the object with your mind via intention) then look at something
near by, (ex: the ground, your feet, grass, stones, fence, posts, and other
things within 20 or 30 or 40 feet radius) the same way. *

*Look far and then look near, far and near, far and near. In all
directions. Do this for an hour or so or until you feel good. In addition
to the above, you can also do this with your eyes closed. Just imagine that
you are seeing with your eyes closed. *

*Find a safe place to stand or sit and do it. Look and do this in all
directions around you, without turning your head. Get as much sense and
information as you can, like you did with the eyes open process. *

*ONE (a) If you can't go outside, than do it in your room and out the
window. Then sit in your chair and hold your attention on the eight corner
points of your room with your minds eyes all at the same time. Practice
with first holding two points, then four points, then eight points. *

*One (b): If you can, go into nature and look at and carefully study
everything in your area, all around you. Hug a tree for a few minutes. The
tree will absorb charge. *

*One (c): If you can, if weather and season permit, find a suitable safe
location, be careful and walk barefooted and rub your bare feet in to the
cool forest soil under the surface cover and stand there for a while with
your bare feet in contact with the fresh cool earth. This will absorb
charge too. Called grounding. Watch for and avoid broken glass. Use common
sense and think. You can walk around your lawn too, if you have one. *

*It may take several days for your mind to settle down. It takes however
much time it takes. *

*TWO: Taking a shower also helps greatly, with a good, hard body rub down
with a rough defoliating cloth or stiff bath scrub brush. Go over your
entire body, covering every square centimeter, several times. Do more
rubbing or brushing where there is more charge. This is very effective for
removing body charge.*

*THREE: Another recovery process: If and when you get a lot of body charge
disturbed, like in /on your face and head, (as well as whole body) just
take both hands and tap the locations as hard as you can all over the
charged area and tap repeatedly as fast as you can, until all the charge is
released. *

*Releasing all the charge can take some time. And as many repeated sessions
as it takes, over as many days as it takes. If it takes a month, then it
takes a month. *

*But if you do these processes, it is unlikely it will take that long. *

*(It did take me that long before I figured all this out for myself.)*

*This is a more effective heavy duty version of EFT, to use in heavy
charged situations. *

*In some severe situations you need a bigger hammer than standard EFT, and
this is it. And there are no rules or specific procedures to follow, like
with standard EFT. (I think standard EFT is flakey.) *

*Just tap with all four fingers of both hands as fast and hard as you can,
all over your body, where ever you feel charge. Especially around your head
and face. When doing the face, tap all around and over the forehead, eyes,
ears, in the ear lobes, behind ears, nose, bridge between eyes and down
towards top of nose, mouth, lips, jaw, cheeks, chin, neck, as close as
possible to eyes, between eyes and nose bridge, and as hard as possible.
Then tap all over your skull too, and back of the head and neck. Do this
until your fingers and arms get sore. It will feel good. *

*There can be tremendous charge deeply embedded in all these areas in
severe cases. Tap vigorously, but use common sense and don't injure
yourself. *

*(People who do not have and use common sense can be institutionalized to
protect them from themselves and to protect the safety of the public.) *

*After you take a break and recover, that is get your strength and will
power back, you can begin again from where you left off or the beginning if
you wish. *

This type of processing is not for the feeble minded or faint hearted.
Only the strong and courageous survive.

For info on EFT, see some videos on youtube on "Emotional Freedom
Technique".

We get into trouble in life for four basic reasons:

Basic or original version of four flows:

 1. What others did to us?

2. What we did to others?

3. What we did to ourselves?

4. What we saw others do to others?

 Revised version:

 1. What others did to us? (Or what someone did to us? Or something did to
us?)

2. What we did to someone or others? (Or what we did to something?)

3. What we did to ourselves?

4. What we saw others do to others? (Or what we saw something do to others
or something?

Or what we saw someone do to someone? )

 These are called “flows”.

Where ever possible, look at every incident from all points of view, and
run every item on each of the four flows in any process.

TROM deals with the ways we get into trouble in a more precise way.
(BTW: There are 5 levels in TROM.)

Especially beginning on L4.

They are called classes of overwhelms.

But don't be concerned with L4 now.

Stick to L1 and L2 until you get them done and then go to L3 and so forth.

The main point is to go slowly and complete each exercise completely before
going on to the next.

If you need help just ask on this list and at least someone will be glad to
help you.

Good luck,

David
