When I first listened to a couple of tapes by Dennis back in 2008 and 9, I listed to the ones about the grocery store and barber paradox ( and maybe there was another one) and I thought they were nonsense and extremely boring and even aberating.
So I quit because I thought they were a waste of time and energy. A few days ago, I listened to one or two others, on dissociation and they were about the same. I learned practically nothing from them. Today I was drawn to listen to a couple more. I listened to the sex goals tape and it was a bit interesting. I listened to another one, I forget which it was and it was closer to boring than interesting. Then I just listened to the unstacking procedure. This is the first tape to me that was interesting and could actually keep my attention. The interesting thing is that what I described in my previous post of yesterday, on the way my case came apart, as a result of doing line 1B was very close to exactly the way Dennis explains it in this tape on unstacking. That is very, very, very interesting. I warn beginners, to not do this, until you have done L1, L2, L3, L4, until flat. Because you will only get into very much deeper and very treacherous waters, than what you can safely walk in, (such as knee deep or waste deep water at the most) when you still have not learned to swim, or learned how to swat sharks off, or learned how to walk on quick sand. The only reason I mention this is that even though I am not finished with clearing my case yet, I made very significant strides (over the last few days) and even without or before listening to Dennis' tape on "unstacking", ...... what I did experience was the way he explains it on the tape. This at the least gives me hope. To listen to him after the fact, after my experience as I explained in my earlier post, was most interesting, most encouraging. My advice to initiates, to beginners, is to just go slowly, do whatever you need to do to get through L1, L2, L3, L4, (even if you have to do other methodologies, to assist you, because I know how steep the TROM gradient is and I had to do a variety of other tech and methodologies to get through to this far: L5),.... TROM at least appears to be working for me now. I am not out of the woods yet, but at least I am not walking in and sinking in quicksand, like I have been off and on, off and on, up and down, up and down, roller coastering, for the last six years since I really began TROM in 2008. If you have any difficulty or have any questions or need help, please ask. And if I can help you, I gladly will. David
