I listened to that tape and was quite perturbed at Dennis' ignorance on the subject of "energy thieves" which he goes back to the seminar where Hubbard brought the subject up in a lecture. And the way Dennis talked about such people on the tape.
I was likewise as perturbed to learn of Hubbard's ignorance on the subject or problem too. An energy thief, or energy vampire, is a person who sucks energy from you while you are in their presence or talking to them, which leaves you feeling drained. Although Dennis does mention that the bubble or black hole is a "must not be known", he does not explain enough that indicates that he actually knows or understands what it is. It is evident that he did not understand what was the cause of the condition. I am very surprised that with all the experience LRH and Dennis had, that they did not fully understand that. There is no shortage of such people. And yet LRH developed the tone scale with below "0" tone levels. Such people who are called "energy vampires" are simply persons who have been so severely inflicted, deprived, rejected, revealed, invalidated, abused, made nothing of, emotionally unnourished, emotionally destroyed, spiritually wounded, and losing energy, so much so that they are actually dying and hanging on for dear life (on the inside) and need help, are looking for emotional, psychic and spiritual energy, like or similar to a person who is losing blood, needs emergency blood transfusion. Their energy fields are full of holes from severe overwhelming abuse. It is a person who is invalidated and abused to below death on the tone scale, to almost below non existence.They are in very dire need emotional of healing and emotional nourishment, and emotional fulfillment. ) They are "Must not know"s and "Must not be known"s to the extreme. They "must not be", "must not do", "must not have", ......"can't be", "can't do", "can't have", to the extreme. They are extremely damaged beings. I know what it is, because it takes one to know one. These are not all that uncommon. Energy vampires used to be a common subject for discussion on "Coast to coast AM" with George Noory. A late night talk show that went on from 1 am to 5 am. I assume some of you on this list may know about the show. It is very popular. Noory has become a celebrity. I used to drive truck on night shift and usually listened to it. (I have not listened to the show since I quit driving in 2007, and for all I know it may still be a common subject of discussion.) I used to get so pissed off at all the people, especially women who would call in to the talk show and talk about "guys" they met, or were with, who were energy vampires and would talk so disdainfully and despisingly and disparagingly and hatefully of them and ridicule them. Their ignorance (as well as George Noory's) made me sick. (It seemed to be that it was always men who had such conditions.) It is common talk amongst "new agey" women. They so very disparagingly talk about the guy who they went out with, who sucked their energy, or stole their energy. The voice of incredible ignorance, so much that their ignorance is abusive and adds salt to the wounds and rubs it in. So much so that I can only wish those women would experience that in a next life time (or even (better still) in this lifetime) and become aware of it. So they can walk in those kinds of shoes. I also had a girlfriend many years ago, that would scorn me, sneer me and scoff at me and berate me, with those accusations and that disparaging talk too. And several others who would imply that, but not say it. (At those times I did not know or understand what was wrong, as my childhood memory was blocked out. I only felt the pain. ) (And this feeling and flash backs were triggered for me when I listed to Dennis on his tape on the subject, last evening.) It has taken me many years to fully see through this, fully understand the condition and the cause and put words to it. Going through TROM L4 and L5 has put the finishing touches of understanding and words to the subject. There are many romance novels written on the subject of energy vampires. Evidently the voice of extreme ignorance. This may be the first time that the phenomena or condition of energy vampirism, may be fully explained. David
