Just a few thoughts on the viewpoint of "self"! 1. You, "The awareness" will not be found, in, or out of body, in some spirit world or in some past, present or future time. 2. The mock-ups which we call mind, body or thetan (spirit) are mock-ups, not entities. 3. The mock-up which we call self is an activity (a verb) - It is not an entity or noun. 4. This mock-up (self) is pretence - pretending to be awareness. 5. Self, most fears its own absence and whenever awareness (which cannot be described) has "self" absent the "self" moves in to claim the epiphany of its own absence. 6. Awareness is able to project a viewpoint or mock-up of a self with an accompanying environment anywhere it wishes. 7. "Self" fears its own absence and regards the body as part of self and regards absence of self as death. 8. Awareness is "now" It is not in some past or future - It needs no therapy, self-improvement or processing. It has not come from anywhere and is not going anywhere - it is the eternal "now" or better stated "I" 9. All philosophies which entertain the idea of "beginnings, time, sources and selves" are based on physical universe premises. 10. Postulates emanate from awareness not from the mock up we call self and thus TROM has validity. 11. Postulates are nullified the instant they are claimed by the ego-self.
Martin PS: I truly appreciate the recent exchanges which have taken place and my advice to those playing the game called TROM, would be to have fun whilst doing the exercises. If all games are fun, and no game is reasonable, and if resolving the mind is a reasonable activity, then it is not a game, but that does not prevent it from being fun. -- DHS
