Hi Colleen 
As far as the order in which the postulates occur Dennis laid them out. Leg 1 
is to be known and leg 3 is to know. Dennis even states things must be created 
before they can be "known".

Sure it is possible to live on a desert island but how many people want to do 
that? The more common situation is people want to live in a community where 
they can know and be known.

Which would you prefer a) desert island or b) community.

If you choose b) then you put a higher importance on being known and you agree 
with me that the basic postulate should be named after the leg 1 postulate "to 
be known"
