Hello, Paul, your point well taken regarding our postulates not working and our mind working against us regards this, a pretty accurate viewpoint of the human condition.
The way I see it now is once one resolves all incidents of self-self and as self-self, vanishing the apparency of self and what Dennis refers to as "Not-Selfs".... I think one will eventually, sooner or later, find themselves directly looking at and timebreaking the incident that began this universe mindset. Where there is only "you" and that other "you" (or is it) on the other side of that wall of postulates. Once that is resolved all viewpoints, including that most elusive one, are yours. Of course there are many mimicries of separation incidents of great magnitude. Hubbard could restimulate it by using the concept of "Home". Intense pain and extreme bliss and all the To know postulate sets right there -- could no longer make postulates work. I believe called basic-basic in the Church. TO POSTULATE could also be run as, "Get the idea of being prevented from postulating". "Get the idea of being forced to postulate (within limited parameters for example)". ETCETERA. Another point I've made to myself I'd like to mention here is that I'm accepting of my case and that I have case and upsets will happen, large or small and to simply stick with the plan and keep to the Rules of Practice. For example, today I did not stick with the plan and I had a more than usual upset and had to give myself the session I did not do this a.m. All for good though :-) These babysteps are only significant to myself, and being able to watch my upset as if it were a blip on a radar screen was a small bit of progress. These add up and one could be in a "Normal Up" condition formula (Please look this up if not familiar with ethics conditions formulas of the Church). Still a slippery slope ... not in a Power condition. Create an Importance of Aesthetics and put that all around you. Great one for those seeking aesthetic sensations across any and all goal sets. colleen
