It is nice to see someone else making applicable tech. To answer your question, when I am "in session" mode I can take apart the components of processed foods -- game strategies exposed, and all the phenomena that occurs with that. For about 30 seconds it has that horrible feeling of a drug addict going cold turkey, and then it is gone and apple pie will never be the same for me ever and I'm mostly okay on that. Remember, I'm still on Level 2/Level 3, with some Level 4 auditing of junior packages. I am so thankful to my auditor who helped me bring myself to trust myself and quiet myself enough to begin to love my solo practices - my RI's and my Timebreaking. Meat does supply neurotransmitters as do fruits. Meat supplies protein, as do the amino acids in fruits. Meat supplies neurotransmitters to the gonads and fruit does not. The body mechanics prefers the basic amino acids over protein. When we stop living/eating for sensation we are free. Eat like the ape your body is, only this ape body has a higher requirement for high-density nutrients due to its brain development. Eating meat is good for sexing and reproduction but we might want to re-examine our priorities given that the earth is now covered with humans. I think the sanest diet out there on the net is the 80-10-10 concept, where 80 = fruits and herbs, 10 = nuts, seeds and the other 10 = "cheat foods" -- my joke on myself :-)) The being who helped me understand better the body has been Dr. Robert Morse, ND with his many youtube videos.
