No, they are spiritual beings who have played some games last lifetime and in other prior existences and sometimes something comes back on them that they have done to others previously. That's been my personal revelation from hours and hours of timebreaking childhood traumas. I'm working to unstick myself from being either victim or bully: the "victim" gets to hate someone and the bully gets to meet his match eventually. Spiritual beings carry their mind with them from one existence to the next; the former bully is now the "helpless" little baby. Believe me, I was not a helpless little baby on all levels of the games I was playing; however it did take some long looking to finally realize on some levels and understandings I was not totally helpless, just got myself snared into some non-life goals. We live and suffer and die by our decisions, so good idea to recall those decisions and re-assess them in present time.
Once you clear all that up you can get onto addressing the basic "To Know" postulates and put a permanent end to your suffering. Suffer no more. --
