Often while doing a simple RI I find more clarity on a present time problem I'm posing to myself... to get my "self" out of the way.
My RI lately has been to put objects in my possession all around me. Today I put a pair of old but cherished shoes all around me and I finally realized that these shoes never fit me well yet I was still hanging onto them and I realized it was because of the rare and pretty color of the shoes. Doing RI got me past my aesthetic hangup (sensation) and to focus on the unreason of keeping shoes that are uncomfortable to wear I was finally able to bag the shoes for the local charity shop. That is a small example and doing RI helps me reason better and be more objective. When I do "another" it helps me be more willing to accept their importances and likewise see their reason and unreason. Well, it's like Dennis says, "games are unreasonable" in the final analysis.
