Dear TROMmer,
Perhaps you are one of the TROMmers who has some interest and perhaps
curiosity about early Scientology. If so this little message is for you.
In 1956 or 1957 I bought a book from the Scientology organisation called
Summary of Scientology. Unusually, for books published by the
Scientology organisation, it was not written by L.Ron Hubbard! It was
written by one Jack Horner who was quite famous at the time, having been
in Scientology from the very beginning of Dianetics and having run a
number of Scientology courses in the USA, England and South Africa. I
had sort of forgotten the book but it is amongst about 50 books about
Scientology I have which I'm working on cataloguing and publishing on
Scientolipedia.
Well, I have dug it up and a friend is getting it scanned in for a PDF
issue of it. It will be a time before the PDF of the whole book comes
out, but in the meantime I'm issuing it a bit at a time to a small
group. I'm starting doing this in the New Year; sending out a bit every
Saturday, and if I get any comments and questions I'll send those out
with answers on the following Wednesday.
