Hi KaraleeI have always referred to this a the 5th avenue advertising and
propaganda boys. They have been selling all the junk we see advertised on TV
and in the magazine adds all my life. They have also moved into politics by
advising the politicians to give speaches based on polling results. That is
tell the people what they say they want to hear then when you get elected do
whatever the lobbiests pay the most for.
Astroturfing is a new name for the same old thing.
it does not always work. the recent years and billions spent on Anthropomorphic
Global Warming has fallen on it's face as the blatant lies and re-writing of
historical temperature changes has become apparent to at least half of the
population.
The last three elections show that 50 percent of the population is not buying
the bullshit being promoted by the liberals and vote against it.
it is good to pay attention to the latest propagandizing but we have not been
overwhelmed yet.
The upcoming serious is the debasement of the world's currencies. this will
cause a financial collapse as has recently happened in Argentina 2002, Zimbabwe
and now Venezuela. The USA, Europe, Australia, China and India will collapse
as their currencies become worthless. The Pension Systems and Welfare systems
will quit making payments and the government will fight to maintain control
when currency becomes worthless which will make it difficult for the people to
dump currency and get on with a barter system till a new currency can be issued.
These are the real problems that will trump the made up problems of the
Astroturfers.
