When you are considering an auditing question or command it is important to bear in mind that you can only audit a preclear in an area where at least some of his attention is. A loosely worded command (in all but the most pedantic preclears who have to look everything up) will allow the preclear to look in the area where his main attention (charge) is. I know a lot of fuss was made about clearing commands. If you are a pessimist you could say that this was due to a desire in the inventor of the commands to steer preclears in a certain direction rather than freeing them of their charge wherever it was.
