Hello list,
I have recently installed trousers-0.3.3.1 and found that when I try to take
the tpm ownership (tpm_takeownership -z), I get the following error message:
Tspi_TPM_TakeOwnership failed: 0x00000024 - layer=tpm, code=0024 (36),
Invalid key usage
The passwords I tried were 'admin' '11111111'.
I didn't see this issue when I replaced the
'/usr/local/lib/libtspi.so.1.1.3' with '/usr/local/lib/libtspi.so.1.1.1'.
Can someone please help me understand what changed with the latest trousers
release. Any new requirements for the password set for TPM?
