Ah thanks Rajiv this explains my question. Previously I was always using force
option with RHEL and previous Fedora versions. But in the Fedora 13 case it
loads the TPM driver by default and this is why pcrs file is in different
location.

Thanks,
Samuel

Hi Samuel,

IIRC /sys/devices/platform is used when loading the module with force option
set, that instead of load the device using PNP, uses hardset information as
specified in the TIS. When you say original, which distro are you talking about?

Hello,

I was trying to read some PCRs in Fedora 13 from
/sys/devices/platform/tpm_tis/pcrs but it does not exists, instead I could read
them in /sys/devices/pnp0/00:0f/pcrs

Does anybody know why original location is not used in Fedora 13?

Thanks,
Samuel
