Dear Ken,many thanks for your answer and sorry for too much traces in the
previous mail.
I was really concerned about messages from those two commands:
[root@... ~]# systemctl status tcsdâ—Ź tcsd.service - Manager for Trusted
Computing resources   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/tcsd.service;
enabled) Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since mer 2014-12-10 22:48:15
CET;2h 24min ago Main PID: 1183 (code=exited, status=137)
dic 10 22:48:15 archlinux tcsd[1183]: TCSD TDDL ERROR: Could not find a device
to open!dic 10 22:48:15 archlinux systemd[1]: tcsd.service: main process
exited, code=exited, status=137/n/adic 10 22:48:15 archlinux systemd[1]: Unit
tcsd.service entered failed state.dic 10 22:48:15 archlinux systemd[1]:
tcsd.service failed.

[root@... ~]# /usr/sbin/tcsd -e -fTCSD TDDL ioctl: (25) Inappropriate ioctl for
deviceTCSD TDDL Falling back to Read/Write device support.TCSD trousers 0.3.13:
TCSD up and running.

I guess "TCSD TDDL ERROR: Could not find a device to open!" is because there is
no real TPM on the machine...!?
And also the other messages from TDDL ( ioctl (25)... , Falling back to
Read/Write... ) are because of the same reason: is it right?
Then, TCSD is up and running and I don't know the meaning of that "Active:
failed..." about 'tcsd.service': is it regular ?

Moreover, I have a question on TSS Test Suite:The INSTALL file says to "export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/root/trousers-0.3.1/src/tspi/.libs" ,  "tpm_tss.html"
doesn't.May you explain the meaning/relevance of that environment variable?
Many thanks again,
Max
