Folks,
To use Trousers code in our modern Windows based application I need to port it
to Visual Studio 2013 (or 2015 RC) - because the existing libraries (and other
open source libraries) simply don't compile with VS 2013 projects. While doing
so I am planning on short-circuiting the code in an attempt to remove the
socket based communication business and the need to install tcsd service.
Anyone disagree with that approach? Are there any gotchas that I should be
aware of before I spend too much time on it? I don't see a need for the service
so I would like to remove it.
