trplayer on debian

Greetings. I just switched from redhat to debian, and used debian's alien
program to convert realplayer and trplayer from rpm to .deb files. They
both installed with no problems. While trplayer will play realmedia files
without problems, it won't play .pls files, as it did when I had redhat
installed. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, any
suggestions? I get the "some components are not available" message.
