Greetings - When I have located a 'cool link' I will sometimes use the Lynx 'd' (download) command instead of pressing 'enter' to select the link. That often gives me just a small one-line file containing the actual link to the audio stream. I have placed that link in an executable script in "/usr/local/bin" with an easy to remember name for later use. Here are two of my favorites: #!/bin/bash # "npr-news" for latest five minute summary trplayer http://www.npr.org/news2a.ram #!/bin/bash # file "wftw" - Word For The Wise, fresh info nearly every day trplayer pnm://realaudio.global2000.net/publicradio/wftw.rm My appreciation to Matt for his excellent work. Chuck. My web site is http://www.mhonline.net/~chuckh One of the worst of my many faults is that I'm too critical of myself.
Some cool links
