Hi there I saw on the archive, that there were questions about trplayer and stdout... i know, that RealNetworks doesn't allow that and since then it can't be built into trplayer, but together with vsound (http://www.zip.com.au/~erikd/vsound/) it's nevertheless possible. Just change in the file vsound the line 93 export VSOUND_DATA=/tmp/vsound$$.raw to export VSOUND_DATA=/dev/stdout and that's it. it's a quick and dirty hack, since there are some errors at the end of the script and i don't what else is transferred to /dev/stdout (some messages of trplayer, I think...) but since i was able to send the output to lame and to encode it directly to an mp3, it's ok for me. if someone is interested in my command line, who does all the stuff, i can post it. chregu -- nam...christian stocker adr...langstr. 97, ch-8004 zurich pho...+41 1 241 8860 www...http://phant.ch/chregu mob...+41 76 561 8860 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
