..But in the absence of positive proof, all is speculation, which I enjoy doing.MD[ wrote]:
This is why Glenn and many TTers have no respect for Mormonism and it's TT defenders. I think he calls it 'the switcheroo' or something, am I right Glenn? You stated emphatically that the passages you offered in the scriptures were strong evidence to support your assertions about Joseph, Mary and John ; now you say all is speculation. Am I the only one on TT that is stunned by this clear deception? (I don't say that to be unkind). Please acknowledge your rush to judgement re the Bible vs extrabiblical sources, or offer a plausible reconciliation of your contradictary positions. See comment at end...

MD: I doubt you are serious here. Luke, writing over 40 yrs after the birth of Mary, knowing (as you submit) that Mary had one son, would tell Theophilus that Jesus was her firsrtborn son??? Imagine you relating to TT about a woman you know with only one chile, a son, and referring to him as her first born...I'm sure you can see you wouldn't do that. Am I right?.
hey bb--wouldn't you rather go
on 'vacation' with uncle dave than get these rave reviews from MD ? <vbg>
