Just doesn't make sense to me.
DAVEH: Do you remember the times when Glenn said the Bible was 'silent' on specific topics? Do you really think God doesn't want us to know the answers to some of those questions? IMO, that leads to confusion. Some people will simply say that if God doesn't mention it in the Bible, then it is OK. I don't buy into that theory at all. If the Lord hasn't mentioned it in the Bible, it does NOT mean that he hasn't mentioned it elsewhere. So IMHO, whatever God has revealed, and wherever it is found, IF it is God's Word.....it is important.
I'm not a theologian, BUT I have always thought that even when the Bible is silent on a topic the principle is there. A good example of that may be infant baptism. Laura
