Blainer)  For some reason, this poem reminded me that the plates--as in
golden plates-- were retrieved for the first time from the Hill Cumorah
on Tishri 1, the Jewish New Year, or in other words, the Feast of
trumpets.  Also, the apearance of Elijah the Prophet in the Kirtland
Temple was on Nisan 16, the Day of The Lord, two days into the Passover
Celebration.  Jews keep a Cedar cup during Passovers, in case Elijah
shows up, because their traditions tell them he will come during the
Passover, which is when he actually showed up--but not at a Jewish
celebration.  
Now, explain why your peom brought all this to mind.
