I do you not believe in Biblical paradoxes?
DAVEH:  Is not a paradox something seemingly impossible?  With God, nothing is impossible, so I would suggest there should be no paradoxes related to our Lord.....unless they are the creation of men.  At least that's how I see it right now.

Give me an example of what you consider a Biblical paradox or two, please.  Right off hand, I can't think of any from my LDS perspective.  The Bible infers that there are mysteries to those who don't have the gospel, but the Lord has revealed the answers to the mysteries to his Saints.   Hence, there should be no paradoxes to those who have a full knowledge of the gospel.   (And let me just say that I in no way have a full knowledge, as you already know.)

Furthermore......to me, I just don't see why there should be any mystery or paradox associated with Mt 5:48.  To me it is a straight forward commandment that doesn't really need much clarification.  I'm rather surprised that it has become such a big topic of controversy within TT.

DAVEH:  Sorry to interrupt, Glenn....But I'm curious why you think the Lord would give a commandment (Mt 5:48) that is impossible to keep?  Your thoughts.....?

Coffman's Commentary says it much better than me.  It is a pardox.
DAVEH:  I've got to tell you, Glenn.....whenever somebody tells me something is a "pardox"[sic], I start wondering if they really know what they are talking about.  Why would you want to believe in a "pardox"[sic]?  Doesn't that worry you just a bit???
