I believe Carroll concurs. g* Yes I do Gary-But what am I concuring to? If you mean present tense salvation-Yes I do agree-I believe there is a hint of difference between us and Monmonism in that we believe Jesus paid for our sins while dying on the cross for atonement and Mormons seem to believe we have atonment because he arose.
DAVEH: That's not quite accurate, Carroll. We have salvation from the grave because "he arose". That does not mean that all who are resurrected will attain heaven someday though. That is only possible because the effect of his redemptive atonement for those who 'accept' him. Are you following me on this two step process of salvation?
I could be wrong just a thought.

I must say it is not wise to contradict the Bible. If this is the last post I ever write (and I die immediately), you can be sure I will be in heaven. How can I be sure? I am not trusting in denominations. I am not trusting in Mormonism's extra revelations. I am trusting in Jesus. JESUS IS MY ONLY HOPE. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness.
I can't speak for other Mormons. The Doctrine being taught however, is
that we are not completely saved until we are resurrected. In the
meantime, anything can happen--we could die tomorrow, in our sins. Or we
could apostatize (sp?) I think it is wise not to count our chickens
before they hatch.
