God made the civil and criminal laws, as well as the moral laws for Israel. I think that is why He warned them not to get a king like the other nations; He wanted to rule them directly. Today we do not live in a theocracy, but in a democracy, so we live under inferior laws—the result is the crime we live with every day. So I don’t think that is any excuse not to obey God’s moral commandments; including honoring the Sabbath. Can you put in your comments on this David Miller? Izzy
