The church I am currently attending uses Christmas to win hundreds of people to Christ every year. They begin practicing in August for the musical "Scrooge". As you know, it is not a religious drama.
Every year thousands attend the 3-4 presentations in the Roanoke Civic Center for free. An offering is received and over $150,000 has been given to the local Rescue Mission. Not one dime is taken out of the offering for expenses. ALSO, AN INVITATION TO RECEIVE CHRIST IS GIVEN. EVERY YEAR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE GET SAVED. PRAISE THE LORD!! THEY SIGN CARDS AND ARE FOLLOWED UP AND ENLISTED IN LOCAL CHURCHES. PRAISE THE LORD FOR CHRISTMAS. PRAISE THE LORD FOR SCROOGE!
