Glenn to Dave - It's obvious you haven't studied Armstrongism. HWA didn't get his ideas from the Bible. He claims to be "a Joe Smith". LOL

DAVEH: Glenn, this is just an observation: Do you find it as interesting as I do that this guy interpreted the Bible (I assume he has not reverted to extra Biblical or latter-day revelations) in a way that has some similarities to LDS theology. I think you've commented in past times that reading the Bible only does not make a Mormon. That may be, but this guy sure seems to have read the Bible and understood it in a way that has some Mormon theology flavor to it. At least that's the way I see it.
If I ever get any extra time, I'd like to see why he thinks "The Trinity doctrine is pagan.".

1. He believes the lost tribe of Israel is America just comes to my mind. It is called Anglo-Israelism.
2. The only true church was the World Wide Church of God. GT's has a different name.
3. Armstrong was the only true interpreter of the Bible.
4. Old Testament Sabbath, and I think maybe dietary laws, are to be followed to achieve salvation.
5. Salvation is future not present.
6. To go to heaven you must be immersed by a Worldwide Church of God minister.
7. Being born again has nothing to do with salvation. It has something to do with spirit beings in heaven.
8. The Trinity doctrine is pagan.
