Here is a write-up that mentions the inverted elongated pentagram, from the same website (when you go to the site, click the highest leftmost blue circle in the picture).

I am perplexed. Why would a church that claims to be of Jesus Christ be covered with Satanic and occultic symbols? Do you think the Holy Spirit is present in buildings with satanic and occultic symbols on them? Is this blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?

I located an example of a use of the inverted star, also known as "the goat's head pentagram", which is an occultic symbol for Satanism. Go to this site and click on the lowest blue circle to the right. It explains it fairly well.

Interesting. The EU also issued a poster with the famous depiction of the tower of Babel (Pieter Brueghel) being built...with the caption "Europe. Many tongues. One voice." It also depicts 11 inverted stars circled above the tower. The inverted pentagram is supposedly an occultic symbol. Also interesting, is that the EU parliament building was built to resemble the tower in the Brueghel painting, too!
