Yes, of course, I have read it. I think you and Glenn are mixing up your
nouns and prepositions. :-) Gal. 3:13 teaches that Jesus is a curse. It
does NOT teach that the law is a curse. Rather, it speaks about the law's
curse, which is what made Jesus a curse.

I noticed that you deleted my quote of Gal. 3:13 from your post. Let me
quote it again for you.

Let me break it down.

What is a curse in Gal. 3:13? Is the law a curse? No, Galatians 3:13 says
that CHRIST WAS MADE A CURSE.

Read it. Don't read it with your mind already made up. Let the passage
teach you. Break it down with your knowledge of English. The passage
speaks about the law's curse, and it teaches us that Jesus was made a curse.

When the passage speaks of the curse of the law, it is not calling the law a
curse. It is speaking about the curse that the law brings to those who
qualify for the curse. For example, Deut. 28:2 says,

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou
shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God."

>From this passage and the verses that immediately follow, we learn about the
blessing of the law. However, go down to verse 15, and we read:

Deu 28:15, "But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the
voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his
statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come
upon thee, and overtake thee."

>From this passage and the verses that immediately follow, we learn about the
curse of the law.

So we see then that the law has blessings and the law has curses. We don't
say that the law is a blessing, or that the law is a curse. Whether one is
blessed by the law or cursed by it depends on how one acts in relation to
it. Even when we are cursed by the law, we agree that the law is holy, just
and good, because it comes from God and its curses reveal to us our need for
a Savior.

We are redeemed from the law's curse, not from the law. The way Glenn
talks, people need to be saved from the law. The way Glenn talks, the law
and sin are the same thing. The law is a curse; the law is bad for us; the
law is sin. But none of this is true. Nobody needs to be saved from the
law. We need to be saved from sin.

Peace be with you.
