Hi Gary. I don't have much of a handle on the numbers thing. I do believe that numbers have a role in what God does. God is a God of order, and numbers like 7, 12, 24, 40, etc. have clear significance in prophetic events. We also observe things like God saying in the Torah that he would punish the Israelites seven times for their sins if they did not repent, then we find the 70 year judgment getting extended to 490 years (7 * 70), etc. So numbers have meaning, but it is way over my head to understand it all. With regard to my father, I offered the comments only as an anecdote. Further investigation would be needed to determine whether the observations indicate only coincidence or if they had some other meaning. I have observed demonic activity in people before, and I found it interesting to have an unprovoked attack from someone at the exact moment my father was passing on. It could be a coincidence, or it might be related in some way. More information would be needed to make any conclusive remarks about it. Peace be with you.
