Adversary, has a very interesting tactic. I'm sure as a pastor, you've seen his
signature work. He comes in appearing very innocently and begins to create
division. Soon, a group of believers who were once echad (Heb.: one) are now
divided and they leave. Unfortunately, the strong end up being forced away,
leaving the weak behind to be slaughtered and eaten by the roaring lion. What I
just described may sound like a National Geographic special on the Serengeti,
but what I actually described was the last congregation I was a part
of.
The Spanish have a name for him... Diablo...
which means to divide (in order to conquer)
