Must have been a last minute change. I remember seeing a
small group of masons who were almost estatic that the masonic Bible would be
used. I am not certain just what is inside the covers, but according to
the information that I have available, ( quote:"The freemasonry ritual, in the
lower degrees, is concerned with the recovery of a lost word, presumed to be the
name of God. It was supposedly lost through the murder of the architect,
Hiram Abiff, during the building of Soloman's temple. This quest is
completed duing the ritual of the royal arch degree. It is here the secret
name of the diety of mystery is revealed. That name is Jahbulon.
"Jah" is the short form of the Hebrew name of God, "Yahweh or Jehovah".
"Bul is a rendering of the name Ba'al, and "On" is used in the Babylonian
mysteries to call upon the Diety "Osiris".), it doesn't sound like any KJV that
I have ever read. In fact, this information says that they consider the
Holy Bible to be no better or worse than any other holy book.
