I am not judging your motive.  I am certain that you simply want your grandchildren to have an enjoyable time.  We evidently just have different ideas of what denying self involves.  I was not thinking boycott.  The little you do or do not spend there will not really help or hurt them.  I was thinking more like , would I take Jesus there?
