This is getting weird! A while back I found on several sites that GWB was a mason, and took the oath on a Masonic Bible. A little later, it was said that he was going to use the Masonic Bible, but used the family Bible instead. Now I cannot find anywhere where GWB is listed as a Mason, only as a member of Skull and Bones, a secret society that is an offshoot of Scottish freemasonry. The masons still claim Dick Cheney as a member of the Montana lodge, but no claim anymore on GWB. Now I wish I had printed out the info before it became all a big misconception. When I have more time I will look some more. For right now, I will just have to look befuddled.

The Masons do tell us why some people mistakenly think that George Bush
is a Mason. It has something to do with the Bible used to swear him in.
