so, DaveH, (with respect to a previous post/comment about 'cats will [be at peace] with dogs in the millenium':), it appears that Mormons deny, repudiate, and/or do not anticipate a future 1000 year earthly reign of God in Christ.
Too bad; and, this is why Mormons are not considered to be Evangelical, in which theological locus (biblically, though) is the essential criteria of the true meaning of the word 'Christian'. E.g., even Bob Dylan, who studied for several years at Grace Chapel, Calif. thinks 'evangelically'--e.g., check out 'Oh, Mercy' and 'Saved' (CDs) original back then.. so, contrary to popular culture/s, like our's, and radically, as I've presented frequently on _TT_, Evangelical theology builds the only sound _biblical_ case for Christian theology, inc the Millenium: The literal, earthly, 1000 year reign of JC to begin at the juncture of the 2nd coming of JC which will be the inception of the 'age to come' (the apocalyptic in-breaking of JCs reign) beginning the ultimate termination of time (and space) as we know it--i.e., the end of 'this' present evil 'age' and the World By biblical definition, (residual?) Mormonism will then go down with the world and its religions as Christ himself comes to power, not on the throne of David, which is a popular (even 'Evangelical') misconception, in my view, a false teaching; but he will come to rule on/from his _own_ throne, to which King David himself bowed, the power of which will be enjoyed by, perhaps shared by, JC in some sense with the closest (or only real) associates he has--his NT-based followers..
