GenderPac "Diversity Statement"
Dear TVC Supporter:
June 24,
2003 – Traditional Values Coalition has just sent letters of concern to
each Member of Congress on the efforts of the homosexual group Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and the
transgender activist organization called GenderPac to get federal legislators to
support cross-dressers, transvestites, and transsexuals in federal
employment.
We are urging you
to contact your legislators as well—and we have prepared letters for you
to send through TVC’s CapWiz service.
Here’s some
background on what’s at stake: At least 76 U.S. Representatives and
Senators have signed a GenderPac “Diversity Statement” in support of
so-called “transgender” rights in hiring and employment policies for the
U.S. Congress.
This means that 76
of our representatives in Washington, DC have agreed to hire individuals
who are cross-dressers, transsexuals, or even shemales (individuals who
maintain both male and female sexual characteristics) as employees if one
of these sexually confused individuals applies for a job in Congress.
GenderPac is working closely
with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a radical leftist homosexual group
based in Washington, DC. With this new alliance of cross-dressers and
homosexuals, they are lobbying for federal legislation designed to provide
special legal protections for transgenders in the workplace. This means
that any businessman will be forced to hire a drag queen, transvestite, or
even a shemale if the person is qualified for the job offered.
GenderPac is headed
by Riki Wilchins, a male-to-female transgender who has written Read My
Lips: Sexual Subversion and the End of Gender. Wilchins believes that
male and female are “socially constructed” and really don’t exist as
genetic realities. GenderPac’s goal is to destroy any concept of male and
female in U.S. law and culture.
The following U.S.
Representatives and Senators apparently agree with this and have already
signed this “Diversity Statement” with GenderPac:
If your Senator or
Representative is in this list please click on their name above to send a
letter of concern to him or her. We are asking that they remove their
names from the GenderPac Diversity Statement or explain why they think
sexually confused individuals who wish to wear opposite sex clothing or
have sex change operations should be given special legal protections under
the law.
If your Senator or
Representative is not listed, we are asking that you contact them here: http://capwiz.com/traditional/issues/alert/?alertid=2364936&type=CO
and urge them not to be fooled into signing this "Diversity Statement."
Sincerely, Rev.
Louis P. Sheldon
Chairman Traditional Values Coalition
