jt: Nada - it is extremely dangerous not to take the scriptures seriously because these are the words by which you/we will be judged in the last day. Jesus said (see John 12:48) "He that rejects me and receives not my words has one that judges him; the word that I have spoken the same shall judge in in the last day..." so you/we ignore or dismiss them at our own peril... and anyone who would counsel such has no God-given common sense only carnal reasonings... because it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.
