What Dave was getting at, for all you people that are not in the "gnosis"
This "gnosis" is reserved for the initiated. You must progress through layers of deeper & deeper meaning, till you are ready for strong meat.
God put Adam & eve in a sort of double bind
Be fruitful & multiply
Dont touch the fruit
In order to multiply they had to touch the fruit. Breaking one of God's commands was JUST a FORMALITY! There was a greater eternal purpose. "endless increase" or as ANTIs put it "celestrial sex". This was the FALL UPWARD. It was a good thing. No big deal.
Because this is so contrary to the NATURE & CHARACTER of God we can most assuedly know that the God of the Bible & god of the book of mormon are Not the same personage! In fact the same character that promised "godhood" in the garden, tempted Eve to sin. I would therefore say the god of the book of mormon is the god of THIS WORLD Satan. This is the same god, called an "Angel of Light" by the first presidency of the LDS Church, who appeared as an Angel of Light to Joe in the SACRED GROVE!
