Iz you suggesting that the practice of polygamy is rooted in polytheism?
 
...is the bride of Christ (via NT baptism:) unified/as one, or polygamous/numerous unique 'females' in NT thought?
 
..or, from the NT saints perspective--if 'we' aren't (baptized) one body (i.e., also thought of as the bride for JC by JC himself), then why can't the NT saints be polytheistic?
 
..in short, if JC is polygamous himself, then why can't the saints be polytheistic themselves?
 
(..perhaps this is why baptism and polygamy go together like Marlin and Santa Claus:)
