Brother Dean,
I understand your concerns for certain folks on TT who seem to be casual about their conversations with the mormons. However, most of us have a longer history here than you do, and so we know each other better than you yet know us. Most TT’ers are quite mature in their understanding of the doctrines of demons. I have seen so many new TT’ers come on and get all excited because they are led to think the mormons are really interested in what they have to say. I just sit back and watch how long it will take them to figure it all out—they are being manipulated. But eventually they, too, realize the mormons have NO interest in learning a thing; they just want to argue and make points and try to drag the gullible into the pit. As I said, I don’t think the mormons are even conscious of being used in this way by the devil.
A few years ago a new mormon temple was built here in St. Louis county that I had to drive past twice a day going to and from church. It is anathema. Once the construction was finished, and prior to being “anointed” or whatever the heck they call it, the mormons held open house and allowed non-mormons to tour the place. Folks were standing in long lines for the opportunity. You couldn’t have dragged me in there with a bulldozer, as I had NO interest in seeing such an evil place. And I certainly have NO interest in debating philosophy with mormons. However, for those who have the stomach for it, I don’t oppose it if they know what they are doing. You seem to be holding up quite well. J
