More respectful?  Perhaps so.  Sometimes respect is sacrificed to make a
point.  I imagine someone could criticize Elijah for calling fire out of
heaven as being less respectful than if he had just refused their
request.  I imagine also that someone might accuse Jesus of being
disrespectful for calling that woman a dog who wanted Jesus to heal her
daughter, or for calling Herod a fox, or for calling the Pharisees
vipers and hypocrites.

Generally speaking, however, I don't think street preachers go out of
their way to be disrespectful.  There are always exceptions.
