LOL. Well, you may not understand why we have the no ad hominem rule, but the reason is a good one. It does help this forum to produce better fruit. It is not a gag order, but an admonition of the direction in which discussion should flow. Direct your thoughts toward the issues at hand rather than toward the person saying it. It is really pretty simple. As for the double standard, just because I jump on one person and not the other does not mean that there is a double standard. We all should try and help one another to keep our comments directed toward the issues rather than trying to flame others. It takes work. Human nature (the flesh) wants to rant and rave and yell at people. We can all do better than that here. By the way, I think the following people on the list are much better than me in following the no ad hominem rule. I look to them to help me stay on the straight and narrow with this rule. 1. Laura 2.
